Learning How To Deal With A Break Up is one of the hardest things to do. After a Break Up you find yourself in a world that just don't seem to make sense now. You are searching for answers but you can't seem to find any. You begin to feel alone and depressed. You isolate yourself from your friends and family. You're not eating right and you want to sleep all the time. Does this sound familiar?

These are common things that a lot of people experience when they try to deal with a breakup. Your relationship might be worth saving, but right now you’re dealing with the breakup and here a few helpful suggestions that can help you get through this. If you feel your relationship is worth saving, I’ll add another post under this to help you with the process.

[1] Don’t Panic. It’s a common reaction to try and regain control of the relationship. You’ll end up doing things that will make things worse.

[2] Do not try and contact your ex. That means do not call, email, text, or even show up at places you think your ex might be at. Your emotions are unstable right now and this can only lead to a disaster.

[3] Reconnect with friends. Sometimes when you’re in a relationship you end up spending a lot less time with your friends. It’s always nice to have friends that you care about and you enjoy being around. Just make sure your breakup isn’t the topic of conversation.

[4] Take Up A Hobby. Maybe you had a hobby you once enjoyed but the relationship you were in didn’t allow any time for it. Or take up a new hobby. Do something you enjoy doing. You’ll probably end up making some new friends this way to help take your mind off your pain.

[5] Get plenty of exercise and eat right. A breakup can leave you feeling drained It’s common after a breakup to want to sleep all day, watch tv, and eat junk food till the sun goes down. Or, you might not be sleeping or eating at all. When you exercise and eat correctly, you’ll have more energy which will benefit both your physical and mental health. So do some walking, yoga, weight lifting, biking, or whatever physical exercise you enjoy to keep your body healthy. Take Care Of Yourself.

It’s hard to deal with a breakup, but if you follow these guidelines I’ve just mentioned it will help keep your mind occupied and lower the chances of you going into a state of depression. Remember, there’s people who care about you!
